Join us for a FREE Worker Cooperative Business Academy: December 10, 2026 – March 25, 2027
The Worker Co-Op Academy is a FREE 14-week training program for people who want to learn how to start and run a business that is owned and controlled by its workers. You don’t need business experience or a lot of money to get started. You just need an interest in learning and working with others. See course schedule here (Add link)
Who Should Join?
We welcome everyone, especially:
- People of color who want to start a business and build a better future.
- Immigrants and refugees who want to use their skills, talents, cultural knowledge and ideas to earn a living.
- People with no business experience who are curious about entrepreneurship and want to learn from the ground up.
- Workers who want more control over their work, decisions, income, and working conditions.
- Anyone interested in working together to build a business that benefits workers, families, and the community.
What Will You Learn?
You will learn how to turn your business idea into a plan, understand your customers, work with others, make decisions together, manage money, and market your business. We will also cover the legal steps to start a business, how to share responsibilities, handle disagreements, find funding, and keep your business running.

- 30-hours of training by experienced trainers
- One-on-One coaching with a successful entrepreneur
- Access to a peer-support network

- When: Thursdays, 6:00–8:45 PM
- Where: Hybrid: In person at 4 King Street, Worcester, MA, and online through Zoom
