• Trained 10 youth as peer leaders, environmental educators, media spokespeople, business planners, landscape designers, soil testers, and event organizers
• Organized dynamic community events with a participatory theater performance to educate residents about environmental justice, youth activism, and lead in their yards and neighborhood play areas
• Engaged the following Worcester Media Outlets:
  • Worcester Independent Media Center (WorcesterIndymedia.org)
  • In City Times ­ cover story
  • TV Channel 3 NECN Worcester News Tonight ­ 3 separate appearances
  • TV Channel 13 WCCA
  • WTAG Radio
  • Stone Soup Newsletter
• Presented at 20 well-attended events and two regional conferences on environmental justice
• Designed and built two demonstration sites to display eight safer-soil techniques
• Received a Mayoral Proclamation declaring June 20 to be "Toxic Soil Busters Day"
• Designed and installed a “lead-safe” walkway for the Worcester Comprehensive Childcare Center
• Tested twenty yards (almost all results showed very high lead levels)
