Worcester Roots seeks to promote access, equality and diversity within the membership of the organization, and believes that diversity benefits both employees and individuals served. Diversity is multifaceted and includes age, gender, physical ability, ethnicity, race, education and sexual orientation. This policy reflects a commitment to equal access and opportunity, and a belief that quality is greatly enhanced when people with different backgrounds and perspectives are engaged in all organizational activities and decision-making processes.
To ensure orderly operations and provide the best possible work environment, Worcester Roots expects employees to follow rules of conduct that will protect the interests and safety of all individuals served, employees and the organization. All employees are to be treated with respect, courtesy and tact. Conduct that is personally offensive to others will not be tolerated.
Employment with Worcester Roots Project is at the mutual consent of Worcester Roots and the employee, and either party may terminate that relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without advance notice.
